If i have a 6 view reference to a ship (top, bottom, left side, right side, front, and back) i can build it using 3dsmax 5. It would be up to you guys to convert them into maya format and into the game. Are there any schematics of eve ships? Send any reference material for caldari ships to thestresspuppy@hotmail.com
What is the max poly count we are looking at for ships? I would say go not much higher than what the original eve ships are. Some of them seem pretty high in polys and alot on the map can lag the game out.

No worrys m8, My clan got the extractor, and we are gonna start meshing Caldari ships asap. Im stuck away from my main puter for another month due to a work trip, but once i get home my max program is gonna go into overdrive

If you guys are using the extracted models as a reference that's fine, but don't let me catch you copying the in-game models. To retain a sense of legitimacy I'd prefer if you took screenshots and modeled everything from scratch.

/signed, and agreed. The Eve Raven is about 4k poly wise. I belive i can mesh one that looks just as good for around 2k. I learned alot of optimization tricks working with HW1, and SFC mods. If anyone wants me to show them how just ask. I also had a thought that CCP may be keeping an eye on this mod, and may want to use some of our work for future eve updates.... You never know
